Summer in Cedarcrest Kids

SUMMER IN CEDARCREST KIDS

Cedarcrest Kids has an incredible summer lined up with a different theme each week to celebrate summer by helping kids explore their imaginations. Every Sunday all summer kids are invited to dress up and enjoy the day’s theme. There will be games, activities, snacks and crafts to celebrate the theme.

Sunday, June 4 – Sports Camp Sunday
Help kick off Sports Camp 2017! Wear sports gear and be ready to play sports outside.

Sunday, June 11 – Superhero Sunday
Who’s your favorite superhero: Batman, Superman, Captain America? Dress up as your favorite superhero. You and your friends will star in a customized comic strip.

Sunday, June 18 – Celebrate Dad Sunday

Honor your dad on Father’s Day by dressing like him. The wackier clothes you wear the better! You’ll also have an opportunity to make dad a special gift.

Sunday, June 25 – Ice Cream Sunday

CCKids are about to make history. We will be making the world’s longest ice cream sundae. Wear play clothes … this may get messy!

Sunday July 2 – Let Freedom Ring Sunday
Celebrate July 4th by wearing red, white and blue, and enjoying popsicles and watermelon. Uncle Sam will stop by for a special story time. It doesn’t get any more Americana than this!

Sunday, July 9 – Super Sleuth Sunday
Calling all CCKids undercover agents! There’s an unsolved mystery at church. It’s important that kids dress like undercover agents and solve the top-secret mission.

Sunday, July 16 – Make Your Mark Sunday
Would you like to be the hands and feet of Christ? Wear your artistic clothes (old clothes that you can get paint on), because you’ll be making the largest mural ever featuring your hands and feet. Come ready to create!

Sunday, July 23 – Scavenger Hunt Sunday
Kids, you will be divided into teams and set out on a scavenger hunt. Wear comfy shoes. Who knows how far you’ll have to hunt?

Sunday, July 30 – Make a Splash Sunday
Beat the heat with Cedarcrest Kids and a boat load of water games! Wear your swimwear and bring a towel. There’s no better way to say goodbye to summer.
