What to Expect

We understand that your first visit to a new place can be overwhelming, so we've put in place an incredible team of volunteers to assist you and guide you from the moment you set foot on our campus.  Once you arrive, our Parking Team will be available to point you to the best parking spot for you, whether you have a carload of small children, are handicap, or just plain need a parking spot.

Once inside Cedarcrest, our Greeting Team will be available to guide you to where you need to go, whether that's our Children's Ministry, Student Ministry, Welcome Center or the Worship Services.

What are the worship services like?

Each service is intentionally designed to help lead you into an encounter with Almighty God.  Our worship pastor and band use a combination of contemporary songs and hymns to create an environment where you’ll have the opportunity to worship in a dynamic and meaningful way.

What about the preaching?

While relying on complete Biblical and Scriptural truths, our Senior Pastor, George Wright, preaches each Sunday in an authentic and relevant way that is useful to your every day life.  Curious what our sermons are like?  Simply click here to go to our Sermon Library to hear previous messages.

What about my kids?

We are passionate about the next generation and consider it a privilege to have your kids at Cedarcrest Church. You will find that we take our responsibility to keep your kids safe very seriously while they experience the excitement of our Children’s Ministry. There are age-appropriate worship experiences for children birth through 5th grade at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m.  We have a security check-in system that will print out a name tag for your child with a matching ID number for you to use when you pick up your child at the end of the service.

What about middle and high school students?

We also offer Sunday morning environments for 6-8 grade students called “The Forge" and 9-12 graders called “Rooted.”  Our middle schoolers meet at 9:30 a.m., and all high schoolers meet at 11:00 a.m. in the Student Building.  Each week our students spend time engaging the Word of God through the use of music, videos, teaching, and relevant small groups.  Your students will love it!

What Should I Wear to Cedarcrest?

Honestly, whatever you want!  Cedarcrest Church provides a welcoming and relevant environment where you can connect with the love of God.  We invite you to come to Cedarcrest dressed how you feel comfortable.  Jeans are definitely appropriate!

We hope this site gives you a flavor of the exciting things that God is doing at Cedarcrest. However, the only way to truly experience Cedarcrest Church is to come check it out in person on a Sunday! We would love to have you visit this week. We will save you a seat!
